Yes, I know I missed feel-good Friday, and I apologize. Hopefully I'll swing back into the routine with that later this week. Actually if I was smart I would go ahead, prepare the post, and then schedule it to go up Friday morning, but I'm in the hot and heavy in the middle of a story I'm writing, and honestly I don't even want to be here right now. I'd rather be working on that story. But it's been a crazy week last week, But I do want to talk about this, just a little.
This last week Obama went out and atacked Israel. Obama said so many stupid things about Israel, I can't figure out which one to post first, or how many links to post. I mean, Obummer was so whacked out even the New York Times had to admit the truth: Obama supports Palestine.
In case you missed it, Obama the Muslim went out and and said that Israel has to return to the 1967 border, or as it was promptly dubbed, the Aushwitz border. Here's the link to President Obama bin Muslim's speech, if you want to read it. Apparently, President Obama bin Muslim's plan is to chop the state of Israel right in half so he can connect Gaza - a miserable strip of land that Israel needs to take back with extreme force - with the West Bank. I have several choice words for the president - none of which I can actually say in public. Those words aside, is Obama bin Muslim insane? Oh, never mind. I forgot that Obama is a Muslim. And the Muslims have been after the Jews ever since the Jews told Muhammad, who was passing himself off as the one true prophet, to go pound sand. I don't have time to deal with all of this hear, but I recommend you read Robert Spencer's book The Truth About Muhammad sometime.
Anyway back to the point. Obama bin Muslim, ever the master of poor taste, apparently made his anti-Israel speech the day before Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was supposed to visit. So, as you may imagine, Netanyahu schooled Odummer.
So that's the brief version. The long one would probably take days to figure out, much less tell. The shockwaves from Obama bin Muslim's ridiculous statements are still reverberating.
Update: Don't feel sorry for the Palestinians. They don't deserve your sympathy.
The first video is here, as YouTube pulled it. Here's the video that was made after the first one got pulled.

Sderot
[A/N: I am cleaning out my Edit Posts page. Over the next few weeks, I will publish the half-finished works I deem publishable and throw the rest away. This one, I think, is publishable.
It was first drafted on 4-4-10.]
So tell me, when was the last time you turned on the TV, went to your favorite news station, and saw the commentator blaming Israel for launcing missiles at some other Middle Eastern country? Ok, so maybe not recently, but you've seen it before. You know you have.
So, did the commentator ever tell you the other side the story? Like what provoked Israel to attack in the first place? Israel does not just go around randomly lobbing missiles at other country for the fun of it. (If you have believed this in the past, then you have confused Israel with the rest of the Middle East.)
No, when Israel finally goes on the offensive, it means that they're tired of having missiles fired into thier own country. Case in point: Sderot, Israel.
From the UK's Daily Mail:
And yet, despite the PTSD and seemingly perpetual choas that surrounds the city of Sderot, it's just a normal place ... well, other than the rockets, of course. Back to Ron Mossad's blog:
I really can't imagine what it must feel like to have missiles lobbed at you every single day. and these people live with this day after day.
So next time you hear that Israeli soldiers are being blamed for some skirmish over in the Middle East, remember Sderot.
because everyone feels bad for the Muslims who are having thier homes destroyed by the Israelis, but the mainstream media will never report on Sderot.

No, when Israel finally goes on the offensive, it means that they're tired of having missiles fired into thier own country. Case in point: Sderot, Israel.
From the UK's Daily Mail:
And suddenly it comes, a noise like the slamming of a heavy door as a sleek, six-foot-long Qassam rocket bursts into the cloudless blue sky.How would you feel if this was your town? From Ron Mossad's blog:
Its trajectory is marked by a trail of white smoke as it curves towards the town. Almost simultaneously, sirens begin to wail.
A woman's urgent voice repeats the words, "Tseva Adom, Tseva Adom," over public address loudspeakers.
In Hebrew this means, "Code Red".
It signifies a missile is on its way.
Sderot's jittery residents have no more than 15 seconds to take cover before the rocket hits.
On this occasion, they will have to wait there for a long time.
For the next 72 hours Code Red alerts will sound almost continuously; Islamic militant groups in Gaza have begun raining the first of more than 100 rockets on to the town during a terrifying three-day attack.
Most miss or fizzle out.
But there's always a few that find a target.
Welcome to Sderot, Israel, population approximately 20,000. The scene you just read is one that has been repeated basically on a daily basis since March, 2002....Seems like a lot of people are protected by, as Steven Crowder put it, "The God-given gift of Islamic Terrorist ineptitude." To bad not everyone's that lucky all the time.
But Sderot isn't just a thumbtack on a google map showing the latest rocket strike in the perpetual hell of Middle East reality. It's a real city with real people that I had the privilege of visiting this past January. Palestinians fired four mortars at us while I was there. Luckily their aim was off and the mortars all landed in their own territory - no code red for me.
And yet, despite the PTSD and seemingly perpetual choas that surrounds the city of Sderot, it's just a normal place ... well, other than the rockets, of course. Back to Ron Mossad's blog:
If you follow Israeli news you read a lot about traumatized residents of Sderot with PTSD or children that have developed panic attacks as a result of incessant Code Red alerts...but in a way, seeing how relatable the people were, affected me more than reading about victims of attacks. These people aren't superheroes, they're just regular human beings like you and me who want nothing more complicated than to be able to get out of bed in the morning WITHOUT BEING SHOT AT BY A BUNCH OF IRANIAN-FUNDED, OVERSIZED BAZOOKAS.
They have jobs, they drink tea, they send their children to school, they go out drinking (a local pub was selected by Haaretz as serving the "best cocktail" in Israel), they even produce the Bissli snacks - popular with so many American Jews - at the Osem plant right outside town. In short, this could be quiet rural town in South Jersey or Pennsylvania or Michigan or Kansas or Oklahoma or wherever. You could have had the luck of being born here instead of wherever you grew up.
The only difference is that if you had been born here, [rockets] would be falling on your head on a nearly daily basis for the past eight straight years. This is what would have been raining down on you 20, 30, 50, A HUNDRED times per DAY before your government finally decided to act against the perpetrators. This is what the rest of the world would expect you to endure falling on you as you drove to work or waited with your child for the bus or lay in bed considering what to do with your holiday weekend.
I really can't imagine what it must feel like to have missiles lobbed at you every single day. and these people live with this day after day.
So next time you hear that Israeli soldiers are being blamed for some skirmish over in the Middle East, remember Sderot.

I'm Still with Israel
Guess what's ba-ack? The pro-Israel banner. 'Cause I still support Israel.
In case you missed the news, a bunch of "peace activists" tried to run a blockade in Gaza. IMAO put it best when they said these are "the sort of peace activist who want nothing more than war." Because that's exactly the kind of peace activist that tried to get into Gaza.
All sorts of things have come out about this flotilla attack. Hillary Clinton had to go open her big mouth:
"We support, in the strongest terms, the security council's call for a prompt, impartial, credible, and transparent investigation."
From the U.N.? Don't make me laugh, lady. You and I both know that the U.N. hates Israel and can't do jack squat right.
"We support an Israeli investigation that meets those criteria."
Boy, I wish I could lie like that without my conscious driving me up a wall. Maybe it's a bit early to be calling her words a lie, but I just this feeling that I'm gonna be right. We'll deal with Gaza here in a minute.
(Palestinian authority, what Palestinian authority? Yes I know I'm supposed to keep going but I couldn't help that one.)
One more for good measure:
"Ultimately the solution to this conflict must be found through an agreement based on a two-state solution negotiated between the parties."
Okay. My friend Ron Mossad had a lovely post on the two-state solution so I won't deal with it here. You can go here if you're interested in more on that. Okay, back to the point.
So Mrs. Clinton wants a fair investigation. I wonder, will that investigation include this video:
For the first few seconds of this video you can some soldiers boarding the boat. Then you see a "Peace activist" tossing a rock at a soldier. And the subtitles take care of the rest.
Wow. That's about the same kind of peace I expected from the religion of Islam - oh wait....
Gateway Pundit, through YNet News adds this statement from the soldier who was thrown over the side of the ship:
Hmm. That doesn't sound so peaceful to me.
Obama came out and condemned Israel. Then again, they did put his friends in danger (Not that that's an excuse):
Well isn't that some interesting food for thought. So now that we know this was set up and now that we know that those peace activists weren't peace activists - unless stabbing someone in the stomach is now 'peaceful' - who's fault is it now?
Here's a hint: not Israel.

Gateway Pundit, through YNet News adds this statement from the soldier who was thrown over the side of the ship:
R. was the soldier who was thrown from the deck, as shown in the footage distributed by the IDF. "I was in front of a number of people with knives and clubs. I cocked my weapon when I saw that one was coming towards me with a knife drawn and I fired once. Then another 20 people came at me from all directions and threw me down to the deck below."
"Then I felt a stabbing in my stomach. It was a knife. I got the knife out, then somehow got down to the lower deck where there were more people. This was when the soldiers had got control of all the boat except the lower deck. Me and another soldier managed to get to the deck, and we jumped into the water, from where our forces collected us. Another soldier who was beaten hard lost consciousness. Other soldiers covered him until we managed to get him out."
Hmm. That doesn't sound so peaceful to me.
Obama came out and condemned Israel. Then again, they did put his friends in danger (Not that that's an excuse):
Former Weather Underground leaders William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, as well as Code Pink founder Jodie Evans, helped organize the Free Gaza Movement, which launched the six-ship flotilla from Turkey to Israel that ended in a violent clash with Israeli Defense Forces, BigGovernment.com reported.
... This wasn’t the first time that the Free Gaza Movement, whose board of directors include well-known leftists Noam Chomsky and Naomi Klein, sent vessels to Gaza to deliberately provoke a reaction from Israel.
... And if there’s any doubt that this was a political set-up instead of a humanitarian mission, the fact that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez promised to join a future convoy should dispel any doubts.
Well isn't that some interesting food for thought. So now that we know this was set up and now that we know that those peace activists weren't peace activists - unless stabbing someone in the stomach is now 'peaceful' - who's fault is it now?

We Stand with Israel
So remember what I said about those yellow roses that Americans were giving to Israeli PM Netanyahu to show their support? Well, they've been delivered! Yay!
From the Jerusalem Post:
I was amazed when I read how many individual flowers there were. According to the ordering link, there have been 2,368 bouquets of a dozen roses each. By my math... let's see... 2, 368 times 12... if all of those bouquets have been delivered, then that comes out to about 28,416 roses.
Amazing.
You know something, Barack? We support Israel.
Deal with it.
From the Jerusalem Post:
Some 20,000 flowers donated by American Christians and Jews who were upset by the reportedly poor treatment that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu received in the White House last month will be distributed on Remembrance Day.
Jerusalem florist Richard Kovler allocated the flowers on Sunday to army units, Border Police and organizations helping victims of terror, for memorial ceremonies that will be held Monday across the country.
“It’s a nice gesture of friendship at a time of bereavement to let Israelis know that Americans care about them,” Kovler said.
More than 2,100 dozen roses, totaling more than 25,000 flowers, were donated in a campaign led by US radio host Janet Porter’s Faith2action organization. About 6,000 flowers were distributed to Jerusalem hospitals on April 11, and one bouquet of 100 flowers was symbolically given to Netanyahu.

So Yeah
Normal banner's back up. Yay!
I'd like to thank my newest follower. Thank You! As some people might see, I have added the followers do-hickey to my blog, and added a couple more links to the Conservative Corner. Now I'm having trouble with that too. But it seems to have passed.
Tonight I put up my pro-Israel poster. Now I need a great pro-Israel link to go with it. I wonder where I can get one. I saw a news story that cheered me up today? Remember how Obama was thumbing his nose to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while the PM was visiting? (Or maybe you saw my rant about it. Ranting is good for your blood pressure. Try it sometime. You'll feel better when you're done - especially if you write it out.) Well today I saw a blog post over on Gateway Pundit about how Americans are sending the PM about 10,000 yellow roses as a sign of friendship. It cheered me up immensely.
Here is the link to the Gateway Pundit story. And here is a link to the Jerusalem post article on it. i hope the flowers get delivered soon, though I admit it might take some time for a shipment of flowers that large to get delivered.
Then tonight I went back to Gateway Pundit and proceeded to about have a heart attack at this headline: "Netanyahu Cancels Trip to Nuclear Summit."
OBAMA'S HOLDING A NUCLEAR SUMMIT!?!? We are so SCREWED! Who elected this hippy?!?! "Come, my brothers, and we will all live in harmony in a nuke-free world."
Yeah. Right. listen to me veeerryy carefully. PEACE IS A TWO WAY STREET. You cannot have peace unless the other country wants peace. I have a bad feeling that is going to blow up in our face, spectacularly.
Kudos to Netanyahu for just saying no.
The news is bad for my mental health. But keeping one's head buried in the sand is how we got into this mess in the first place, so I'll keep pressing on.

I wish I had covered all my tracks completely
'Cause I'm so afraid
Is that the light at the far end of the tunnel,
Or just the train?
... I forget the last time I felt brave
I just recall uncertainty
'Cause it came down like a tidal wave,
and sorrow swept over me.
Depression please cut to the chase
And cut a long story short....
- Owl City, Tidal Wave
Thanks to whoever made the Star of David clip art that I used for both the banner and the poster. I appreciate it. Drawing a Star of David in MS Paint is pretty hard.

About my updates
Yes, I know the banner looks weird against the background. I'm working on it. I'm also working on my pro-Israel poster.
But it case you're wondering what's going on around here, this would be me, thumbing my nose at the President (not MY president, I want nothing to do with that lying liberal scumbag) who is busy thumbing his nose at Benjamin Netanyahu.
And here I thought harassing Israel was just something he was doing while he waited for healthcare to pass.
I am sick to death of Barack Hussein Obama (Mm! Mm! Mm!) I'm so glad we can indoctrinate little children to worship him. I hate the healthcare bill, and that's all people can talk about. But that's good. That's okay. This needs to come out. People need to know.
And now BHO is busy harassing Israel. Yeah. 'Cause *that's* not gonna blow up in our face. The other day I saw a sign someone in Hollywood was holding a sign that talked about spaying and neutering Jews. Are you people honestly that stupid? No, really, I wanna know. Does anyone out there remember what happened to Germany? Anyone? Nazi Germany?
Oh, yeah, you're all Holocaust deniers. I forgot. Believe it or not, it is possible to be a Gentile and care about the Jews. I, a Gentile, do it often. (And for those of you wondering, a Gentile is anyone who is not a Jew.)
You know, ranting down here has made me feel a lot better. It is really true what they say about writing about your feelings. I think my blood pressure is already going down.
But yeah. I'm pi$$ed at off at how Obummer's treating Netanyahu, I can't can't exactly get to DC and protest out there, so instead I made a new banner. White and dark blue go very well together. Besides, I like the color blue.
To all the Pro-Israel people reading this, the time has come to unite!
To all the anti-Semites reading this, do me a favor. Go away.
-----------------------------------------------
There. I have attempted to change the blog so that's it's more blue and white. I hope it looks okay. If not, I'll fix it later. Next scheduled banner change is just before Easter.
----------------------------------------------
Update 3:58 pm: I took down the other changes I made to the blog; the glaring white was starting to bother me. But for now, the banner stays. If the white starts to bother me, I'll take it down and convert it to a cream-white.

About Gilad Shalit
See, it's good to spend time in the blogosphere. I'm learning things I'd never know otherwise.
This time it's about a man named Gilad Shalit, who has been in captivity in Gaza since 2006. I can't imagine what his life must be like, and I'm not sure I really want to. From RonMossad.
This time it's about a man named Gilad Shalit, who has been in captivity in Gaza since 2006. I can't imagine what his life must be like, and I'm not sure I really want to. From RonMossad.
Gilad Shalit. It must be truly awful to be in his situation. May Gilad Shalit eventually find freedom - preferably sooner rather than later.
Born, August 28th, 1986.
Sitting in captivity in some Gaza hell hole since June 25th, 2006. Meantime, this peice of work goes home to a hero's reception.
I hope we didn't miss our chance to get him back in time for his 23rd birthday. Speaking of which, what were you doing on your 23rd birthday? Or your 22nd? Or your 21st? Well I don't want to talk about my 21st and you probably don't either because like me you probably can't remember too much of it. Lots of fun these early-20's birthdays. Before you realize you're closer to 30 than 20. Or more than halfway to 50. Yikes.
It's a scary time in your life to be 23, you know?
But none of that really matters if every day you wake up in the basement of some nearly-collapsing house surrounded by people who want to nothing more than to see you suffer in the name of their insanity. Nope, no scary decisions necessary here. If they give you food today, you eat it. If they give you water today you drink it. If
they beat you today you nurse your wounds. If they don't, you wonder what they're planning tomorrow.
Everyday you wish it were over. But everyday it continues, same as the day before. Same as it ever was. How many days has it even been anyway? Is it your birthday today? If it was your birthday today, how old would you be? Does it matter? What should you do today in between dealing with your captors? Should you count how many bricks are in the wall again? Should you try to sleep? Will they let you sleep? Do you even remember what normal sleep feels like?
No, not much to decide here. Not much sense in obsessing over the future when you're Gilad Shalit...and it's been more than three years since you had to make a scary decision. No worries about the future or what to do with your life or if you should go out with that girl from last night again...when your entire life consists of just getting to the next hour without having your arm broken or face punched or your body violated. No scary decisions about the future, when the future is just your next breath. Or the next burst of pain. Or the next time you'll be able to chew your food.
Man it sure ain't easy being 23. For some though, it's easier than others.
