It's been a busy week, and I don't just mean because of college, which is enough to keep anyone busy. The news this week has been an explosion. First I think it was this week that Mubarak stepped down. Maybe it was last week. Who knows. Either way, there goes another US ally - thanks for nothing, Barack. I anxiously await the 2012 election, or, as I like to think of it sometimes, your Day of Reckoning.
That was the beginning of the explosions, but they just kept coming after that. I posted down
here already about Lara Logan's rape in Egypt. I heard through the blogosphere, but without confirmation, that the CBS execs sat on this story because they didn't want it getting out, lest it reflect badly on Obummer.
Well, turns out the blogosphere scuttlebutt was correct. CBS did indeed sit on the story. From Gateway Pundit, who got it from Jewish World Review:
A funny thing happened on the way to the glorious democracy ostensibly emerging in Egypt. CBS reporter Lara Logan, “covering the jubilation” as CBS put it, was surrounded by a mob of men screaming, “Jew, Jew!” who beat and sexually assaulted her. She is currently recovering in a U.S. hospital from injuries described as “serious.” Despite the fact that the incident occurred last Friday, CBS sat on the story until it became apparent that other members of the media had gotten wind of it. Why? The bet here is that this incident interferes with the mainstream media-established narrative regarding the true nature of some “freedom-loving” Egyptians. People yearning for democracy aren’t supposed to be anti-Semitic thugs or sexual predators as well. Thus, a genuine news item became an “un-story.”
…What is really going on in the Middle East? Upheaval–of a largely undefined nature. Where is it leading? Despite mountains of “expert” analysis, one really knows, not even the participants themselves. The American news media? …And not just Islamists. In my entire career as a columnist, I can’t recall a time when so many members of the Fourth Estate were so willing to run interference for a president and his administration. Can anyone remotely imagine CBS spiking the same story if George W. Bush were president? Lara Logan would have been the poster girl for “unrealistic expectations of democracy in Egypt.” Bush would have been thoroughly excoriated for his idea that freedom is “G0d’s gift to mankind,” even as Barack Obama’s water-carriers have been characterizing the events in Egypt as “one the great triumphs of the human spirit” (Thomas Friedman, NY Times), or “a massive eloquent validation of the moral force and power of non-violent civil disobedience” comparable to the “legacies of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King.” (Clarence B. Jones, Huffington Post).
The media actively obstructed the news. And they wonder why we're all getting our information from either FOX or the blogs. Hm. I can't fathom why. (<- Sarcasm.)
And then we have the Wisconsin boondoggle. For those of you who don't know the whole story behind this, let's go back to beginning and start from there. From Michelle Malkin:
The lowdown: State government workers in the Badger State pay piddling amounts for generous taxpayer-subsidized health benefits. Faced with a $3.6 billion budget hole and a state constitutional ban on running a deficit, new GOP Gov. Scott Walker wants public unions to pony up a little more. He has proposed raising the public employee share of health insurance premiums from less than 5 percent to 12.4 percent. He is also pushing for state workers to cover half of their pension contributions. To spare taxpayers the soaring costs of Byzantine union-negotiated work rules, he would rein in Big Labor’s collective bargaining power to cover only wages unless approved at the ballot box.
Malkin also posted the salary information on her blog. These screaming union thug teachers up there make about $50,000 a year in salary and THEN they get benefits. Nice. And these people are whining because they have to pony up a few extra dollars.
Oh, and they might also be mad because they'll lose their collective bargaining power, which if I am not mistaken means they can't control how much vacation time they work and how long they work in a day, never mind that no private sector employee gets to do that.
But no, the teachers got angry, and they had rallies, and then, in the strangest twist of the week, the Wisconsin Democrats fled. Right out of the state. They apparently did this to keep the Wisconsin police from rounding them up and dragging them back to the State house. Or jail, inasmuch as these Dems have now broken the law.
Now folded into the Democratic National Committee, Obama’s campaign group Organizing For America is already actively engaged in Wisconsin and is beginning to ramp up organizing efforts in Ohio, though observers say the latter process is about a week behind that in Wisconsin. The group is also beginning to dig into Indiana, whose legislature is considering a bill to limit collective bargaining by teachers.
I can't imagine what they're going to try and do in Indiana, seeing as Mitch Daniels wisely got rid of public-sector unions when he came into office. I do know that there is a bill in the legislature here to do a school voucher program, and I support that. The public school teachers here hate it. I didn't know they had collective bargaining rights down here.
Governor Walker, the man in charge up in Wisconsin, told Obama that he was working on balancing the budget, and maybe Obama ought to work on balancing his. Three cheers for Governor Walker!!
It's been one heck of a week. I don't know what kind of plot twist to expect next in this story, though I hope in involves the Dems getting dragged back to Wisconsin to their jobs. Then after the vote, I hope they get tossed in jail. I'm tired of Dems being able to break the law with impunity.
One more thing I want to mention before I close: the House of Representatives voted to defund Obamacare and Planned Parenthood, which is good news. The lying Democrats though, are another story. Take a gander at this:
The House on Friday voted largely along party lines to prohibit funding for President Obama’s healthcare reform law and eliminate funding for family planning.
In a quick succession of two-minute votes, the House adopted three amendments to their stopgap budget bill that eliminates healthcare reform funding through the end of the fiscal year. The House also approved, 240-185, an amendment barring federal Title X family planning grants that was aimed squarely at Planned Parenthood.
The vote on the Planned Parenthood amendment from Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) was postponed Thursday night after three hours of bitter debate during which Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) revealed she once had to have an abortion. She made the revelation on the House floor after Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.) described in graphic detail an abortion procedure.
“I really planned to speak about something else but the gentleman from New Jersey just put my stomach in knots because I’m one of those women he spoke about just now,” Speier said. “I had a procedure at 17 weeks pregnant with a child who moved from the vagina into the cervix. And that procedure that you just described is a procedure that I endured.”
Jackie Spier is a liar. Do you know how we Conservatives know this? Read her statement again: “I had a procedure at 17 weeks pregnant with a child who moved from the vagina into the cervix. And that procedure that you just described is a procedure that I endured.”
I hate to give anatomy lessons, but a baby does not gestate in the vagina. She could have had an ecoptic pregnancy, but not if it lasted for 17 weeks, as she would been in agony or dead by that time. Liar.

Well, what can I say about this that you all don't already know?
First, my condolences to the families of those who were killed in this terrible crime. Fourteen people were injured, and six people were killed when lunatic Jared Loughner opened fire.
The deceased are Judge John Roll, 63; Gabriel Zimmerman, 30; Phyllis Sheck, 79; Dorthy Murray, 76; Dorwin Stoddard, 76; and Christina Greene, 9.
Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, the target of the attack, is alive but still in critical condition.
And as one Conservative put it, "before the blood had even dried" down there in Arizona, the Left was rushing to assign blame.
To the Tea Party, of course.

Now, liberals are running around screaming that this is the fault of the Tea Party and that angry rhetoric cause Loughner to snap and start shooting. Never mind all the stuff Obama has said.
Liberals passing through will say, 'oh, but that was just rhetoric. The president was being metaphorical.' Yeah? Well you've accused me of spouting rhetoric that caused Loughner to snap, and I'm a little out-of-the-way blogger. I don't have a public stage like Obama does. Tell me who's rhetoric Loughner would have been hearing. And yes, I referenced myself, because if you blame the Tea Party, you've blamed me.
But nevertheless, the Dems still planned to blame this on the Tea Party. In fact they planned it almost as soon as they heard about. From Politico via Gateway Pundit (emphasis added):
One veteran Democratic operative, who blames overheated rhetoric for the shooting, said President Barack Obama should carefully but forcefully do what his predecessor did.
“They need to deftly pin this on the tea partiers,” said the Democrat. “Just like the Clinton White House deftly pinned the Oklahoma City bombing on the militia and anti-government people.”
I think that speaks for itself.
Besides the Tea party, there was a great liberal rush to blame Sarah Palin for the attacks. The reasoning behind this was a picture that Palin had on her website before the election, which showed Rep. Gifford's district in cross hairs.
Never mind that Brad Ellsworth, who's district was also in cross hairs, is still alive, not to mention the other politicians who were in cross hairs. Help me out here, liberals, what are you trying to prove? After the Fort Hood shooting, we were all told not to rush to judgement, but after Tucson, you all went running to blame Sarah Palin and the Tea Party. Which leave me asking, what gives?
The sheriff has been editorializing and politicizing the event since he took the podium to report on the incident. His blaming of radio personalities and bloggers is a pre-emptive strike because Mr. Dupnik knows this tragedy lays at his feet and his office. Six people died on his watch and he could have prevented it. He needs to step up and start apologizing to the families of the victims instead of spinning this event to serve his own political agenda.
Jared Loughner has been making death threats by phone to many people in Pima County including staff of Pima Community College, radio personalities and local bloggers. When Pima County Sheriff’s Office was informed, his deputies assured the victims that he was being well managed by the mental health system. It was also suggested that further pressing of charges would be unnecessary and probably cause more problems than it solved as Jared Loughner has a family member that works for Pima County. Amy Loughner is a Natural Resource specialist for the Pima County Parks and Recreation. My sympathies and my heart goes out to her and the rest of Mr. Loughner’s family. This tragedy must be tearing them up inside wondering if they had done the right things in trying to manage Jared’s obvious mental instability.
Every victim of his threats previously must also be wondering if this tragedy could have been prevented if they had been more aggressive in pursuing charges against Mr. Loughner. Perhaps with a felony conviction he would never have been able to lawfully by the Glock 9mm Model 19 that he used to strike down the lives of six people and decimate 14 more.
This was not an act of politics. This was an act of a mentally disturbed young man hell bent on getting his 15 minutes of infamy. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department was aware of his violent nature and they failed to act appropriately. This tragedy leads right back to Sherriff Dupnik and all the spin in the world is not going to change that fact.

So a loony liberalsheriff - and most likely a bleeding heart liberal at that - allows an insane man who has been making threats against all types of people walk free, and then six people wind up dead.
I guess this doesn't have anything to do with Palin or the Tea Party, does it?

Hello everyone, I hope you had a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year to everyone.
I guess Congress must have finally gone home, and not a moment too soon. In fact, I wish they had gone a little bit sooner. I have no idea how much damage they managed to cause before they left, and I'm half afraid to ask. I was travelling over Christmas, so I missed a bunch of news. I do know, however, that when I got up on the 26th someone had turned the TV to FOX news and the newscaster was asking about whether Obama would be able to complete his agenda with the new Congress that was coming in. And right before I changed the channel, I thought to myself, you know, I had wanted Odummer to get his agenda through, I wouldn't have gone out and voted for the Republicans.
But I digress. Tonight I was thinking about a song that I haven't listened to in awhile. It's by a group called "They Might Be Giants" and the song is called "They'll Need A Crane."
Now the song itself talks about a couple's relationship, that it fell apart, and how they'll need a crane to pick the pieces up and put them back together again.
And I thought to myself, you know, we're going to need a crane to break down what the Dems have already built and then pick up the pieces of our freedoms and put them back together.

There was Obamacare, and Don't Ask Don't Tell got repealed, "Quantitative Easing," all the money Odummer managed to wrack up on his constant vacations/parties/what have you (by the way, did you hear that his vacation to Hawaii is going to cost taxpayers over one million dollars? And this comes not that long after his trip to India, when he took thirty-four warships with him), the Pigford slave reparations, and these are just the ones that I can think of off the top of my head. not to mention that fact that no thanks to Obama and his cronies, the national debt is through the roof.
We'll need a crane to tear this garbage down and return the country to normal. Don't let anyone lie to you; the country will not magically get better after the new Congress comes in. It is going to take years to fix this (if we're lucky.) I say this now because I expect to eventually hear some Independent whining that the Republicans couldn't do anything.
That's right; unless some Dems move to the center, the next two years will be gridlock. That's the idea. First we put up a roadblock and work undoing whatever we possibly can. But some of these bills are monstrosities, and I suspect it will take awhile to undo them.
It’s a good thing the left has all the intelligent people. If I was as smart as they are instead of just an ignorant TEA Party supporter I wouldn’t be able to understand the constitution either.
I second that. And just think, more fools like this have been running the country for the last two years. We're gonna need a crane to break all of this garbage down and start over again. Let's see, what all kind of crud has happened the past few days? Well, tonight I got word that the FCC has decided to start regulating the Internet. (Keep your hands off my computer! Dial R 4 Infinity is a No Net Neutrality zone!!) Also,
- The Senate passed a food safety bill that gives the FDA more power. The Republicans abandoned the Tea Party to jump on board with the Democrats. You can follow this link to see several lies about that bill get debunked. (Even if you don't read that food safety bill, I strongly suggest reading NaturalNews article in the second link.)
- In an utterly stupid move, the Senate decided to repeal Don't Ask Don't Tell. The stupidity of this is just mind blowing. It's an army, not a social club, and it's no place to host a social experiment like this. In fact, I can predict how this ends because everytime I hear about a different country that allows fags to serve, the army can't fight worth squat.
And last, and probably worst (maybe...it's hard to tell) is the fact that the Republicans also collapsed on the START nuclear treaty with Russia. Now there is a motion to advance it. (Irritating me even more is the fact that one of my idiot Senators, RINO Dick Lugar, voted yes. Democrat Evan Bayh, who has retired, abstained from voting. I never thought I'd appreciate a Democrat over a Republican, but I do in this case.)(Wait a minute, I just admitted that I prefer Bayh over Lugar. What is this, the apocalypse?)
I digress. Today I was thinking about all this crap and I thought, you know, I'm getting an Atlas Shrugged vibe here. Who knew Ann Rand was qualified to be a prophetess? In Atlas Shrugged, the government is always after more power. And when whatever they're running fails, they demand more power to make sure it doesn't fail again. (even though the collapse was their fault in the first place.) That's what's happened with this new Food Safety bill. The FDA botched up, so of course they want more power now to make sure they can screw up our lives don't screw up again. (See lie #5 on the Natural News link up there.)
DADT qualifies under the 'making life fair' part of the government in Atlas Shrugged. And yes, the government in the book did try and make life fair. (They also used class warfare. I'm telling you: flat tax.)
Ever since Obummer came to power I've heard different people say it was like they went to bed in America and woke up after the election in a Banana Republic or the Twilight Zone or something like that. Well, now that I'd done reading AS, it feels like I went to bed in the real world and woke up in the book.
Which begs the question: WHERE IS JOHN GALT? Where is the person is going to restore sanity to those with the minds to accept it? I'm ready to accept it. Heck, I'm ready to move to Galt's Gulch. (Though I admit it will be hard to ship my books out there.)
All joking aside, no, I really am waiting for the person who's going to save America. And no, Obama is not qualified to do that job. Heck, he's not qualified to a Wal-Mart cashier. So who's going to save us now? (Oh heck, for that matter we may as well ask who is John Galt?)
No, I'm not giving up. Not yet. We still have another shot, as soon as January fifth rolls around. But it's not coming fast enough. This lame duck session should never have happened. Obama knows this is his one last shot to get the things he wants done. He is such an idiot it isn't funny. Washington D.C. is suicidal, and they want America to die with them.
We are taking a break from the Monster Profiles because as of today, there is only one week left before the election. Conservatives, right-wingers, Republicans, and everyone who wants to see this country come back from the brink of destruction THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO LOSE YOUR NERVE. This week is expected to be a disaster of epic proportion. Don't put one thing past the Democrats. They are going to do their darnedest to kink up everything about this election. they have already started.
- The Ninth Jerk-it Court of Shmiels Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has overturned Arizona I.D. laws that require voters to present a photo I.D. before they vote. (Can't infringe on those illegal Mexicans and their right to vote now, can we?)
And that is presumably only the tip of what I expect to be very, very dirty iceberg. Dems have final read the writing on the wall and realized that America in general is furious about what's been going on in the District of Corruption.

And here's a fun story on how Rueters is doctoring their having their photos of the Middle East doctored. From Are You Freaking Stupid?, who got it from FOX News:
The British-based Reuters news agency has been stung for the second time by charges that it edited politically sensitive photos in a way that casts Israel in a bad light. But this time Reuters claims it wasn’t at fault.
The news agency reacted to questions raised by an American blogger who showed that Reuters' photo service edited out knives and blood traces from pictures taken aboard the activist ship Mavi Marmara during a clash with Israeli commandos last week. Nine people were killed and scores were injured in the clash.
The pictures of the fight were released by IHH, the Turkish-based group that sponsored the six-ship fleet that tried to break Israel's blockade of Gaza.
In one photo, an Israeli commando is shown lying on the deck of the ship, surrounded by activists. The uncut photo released by IHH shows the hand of an unidentified activist holding a knife. But in the Reuters photo, the hand is visible but the knife has been edited out.
You got it from some Turkish organization and you didn't wonder the pictures had been edited? Seriously? I'd like to say you're not at fault, but I don't know what British law is. The Constitution protects the right to be stupid, though. (Unfortunate though it may be.)

Another review for Wilder’s edition of the Federalist Papers calls for an all-out boycott of the publisher, sarcastically pointing out the "dangerous ideas" it’s trying to protect children from: "limited government, checks and balances, constrained judicial review, dual sovereignty of states and federal government, and deliberative democracy."
The publisher could not be reached for comment on this story. How convenient.

I was dismayed to learn that the Los Angeles City Council voted to boycott Arizona and Arizona-based companies — a vote you strongly supported — to show opposition to SB 1070 (Support our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act).
You explained your support of the boycott as follows: “While we recognize that as neighbors, we share resources and ties with the State of Arizona that may be difficult to sever, our goal is not to hurt the local economy of Los Angeles, but to impact the economy of Arizona. Our intent is to use our dollars — or the withholding of our dollars — to send a message.” (emphasis added)
I received your message; please receive mine. As a state-wide elected member of the Arizona Corporation Commission overseeing Arizona’s electric and water utilities, I too am keenly aware of the “resources and ties” we share with the City of Los Angeles. In fact, approximately twenty-five percent of the electricity consumed in Los Angeles is generated by power plants in Arizona.
If an economic boycott is truly what you desire, I will be happy to encourage Arizona utilities to renegotiate your power agreements so Los Angeles no longer receives any power from Arizona-based generation. I am confident that Arizona’s utilities would be happy to take those electrons off your hands. If, however, you find that the City Council lacks the strength of its convictions to turn off the lights in Los Angeles and boycott Arizona power, please reconsider the wisdom of attempting to harm Arizona’s economy.
People of goodwill can disagree over the merits of SB 1070. A state-wide economic boycott of Arizona is not a message sent in goodwill.

I am tired. All this afternoon I have been on the blogs, and off the blogs, and on, and back off, and making phone calls, and making more phone calls. I have called every Democrat Representative in the state of Indiana and asked them to just say no.
The St. Louis Tea Party is holding a candlelight vigil tonight for the elderly and the unborn who will suffer is Deathcare comes to pass, and Even though I don't live in St Louis, I plan to light a candle too. That starts at seven, and it's six right now, which gives me an hour.
There are five Dems in IN, and I called them. I tried to call Bart Stupack, but couldn't leave a message because his phone box was full.
Then I tried to call Nancy Pelosi. Yes, that Nancy Pelosi. I couldn't figure out what to say to her, so I decided to give her the same message I gave every other Dem: "Please vote no on the healthcare bill." It takes probably less than 45 seconds for me to give my name, hometown, state, and that message.
I was surprised when I called her office that I actually got a living, breathing, human being. For all of ten seconds, for no sooner did I put out the words "no" and "Healthcare" than I was asked to hold, and then shipped over to an answering machine. Nice.
So I guess it was sort of pointless to call Pelosi, just like I was told. I thought I would try it anyway. I knew going in I would not be able to change her mind, but I thought I should leave no stone unturned.
Heaven help us. We're all going to need it now.

It's probably not nice of me to call Barney Frank 'Speech Impediment Man.' But really, that's what I think of when I think of him.
But enough about him needing speech therapy. This is about bill HR 1913, A.K.A the hate crimes bill.
This bill goes against the first amendment by taking away your right to freedom of speech. The bill passed the Congress. Hopefully it dies in the Senate, but I don't know. I haven't heard anything about it yet. (Please note from this point down this blog post is rated T for teen. Only those thirteen and older, please.)
On Wednesday, April 29, the U.S. House is scheduled to vote on so-called "hate crimes" legislation, which would give "actual or perceived" "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" the same federal protection as race. Last week the House Judiciary Committee refused to exclude pedophiles from the bill's protection. The Committee also refused to include veterans. Moreover, the bill does not include the elderly.
H.R. 1913 (Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009) is not about stopping crime but is designed to give "actual or perceived" sexual preference or "gender identity" (which is still classified as a mental disorder) the same legal status as race. The DSM IVR (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual used by psychologists and psychiatrists to diagnose mental disorders) lists more than 30 "sexual orientations" and "Gender Identity Disorders," including pedophilia. The hate crimes bill does not limit "sexual orientation" or "gender identity" and, thus, includes all these disorders and fetishes. The use of "actual or perceived" includes those with disorders or deviant sexual preferences and those who do not have such disorders or fetishes, so long as it is alleged that the person charged allegedly "thought" the other person had such disorder or fetish.
The hate crimes bill also provides that the federal government, under the direction of the Attorney General guidelines, may award grants to local law enforcement agencies to address these alleged incidents. In other words, the federal government can pay for so-called "sensitivity training" and coercive pro-homosexual propaganda.
Mathew Staver, Founder of Liberty Counsel and Dean of Liberty University School of Law, commented: "Sexual orientation and gender identity include pedophilia and every imaginable deviant fetish. Cross-dressers and pedophiles find refuge in this so-called hate crimes bill, while veterans and grandmas are left to fend for themselves. Obviously, this bill is not about the prevention of crime but is all about pushing a radical sexual anarchy. This bill will crush free speech and trample free exercise of religion."
Pedophilia is a crime, sorry. Having sex with minors is known as "statuary rape." Now, if you suffer from any of the fetishes "disorders" listed above, you may wish to leave this blog, because from here on down, I will be exercising my right to freedom of speech.
I've already been over pedophilia, so let me go over the rest of it. Cross-dressing. How can I best put my opinion of this? Um... EW! Yeah, I think that sums it up. That is disgusting.
But the real thing here is that this is Barney Frank's bill. That yaoi freak (A.K.A Homosexual) doesn't want anyone to be able to say anything against him, so he composed this bill to stop that from happening.
In doing so, he has blatantly disregarded the first amendment, and I quote:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
Freedom of speech. That's what's at stake here. Do you think pedophilia's wrong? I sure do, and, under my first amendment rights, I can say so. Do I think homosexuality is wrong? Yes, and I will say so. Homosexuality is described in the Bible as a sin. Leviticus 18:22:
You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.
God said it, and that's the way it is. But this bill will get pastors and religious groups in trouble for speaking out against this sin. It will get police and courts in trouble for going after pedophiles. It will get any sane, rational American in trouble.
By the way, whatever happened to amendment 14 of the Constitution? You know, the one that says no rebelling against the U.S.? Doesn't trying to overturn the very first amendment count as rebelling against the U.S.?
I'm not endorsing slander, here, before the people who point fingers and shriek get up in arms. I believe homosexuality is wrong, and I demand that under the Constitution - since I am a U.S. citizen - that I be allowed to say so.
Isn't it a hate crime to try and take away my freedom of speech?

Anyway, here's the deal. The Department of Homeland Security has issued a report calling all sane, rational, patriotic Americans, in effect, terrorists. If you are against any of the following things, you are a now a right-wing extremist (List from Bare Naked Islam):
The Report specifically mentions the following political beliefs that law enforcement should use to determine whether someone is a “rightwing extremist”:
-Opposes restrictions on firearms -Opposes lax immigration -Opposes the policies of President Obama regarding immigration, citizenship and the expansion of social programs -Opposes continuation of free trade agreements -Opposes same-sex marriage -Has paranoia of foreign regimes -Fear of Communist regimes -Opposes one world government -Bemoans the decline of U.S. stature in the world. -Upset with loss of U.S. manufacturing jobs to China and India -. . . and the list goes on
Do you see this? Do you see this? These people have violated almost every aspect of the U.S. Constitution. Right off the bat I can pick off that it violates the first and second amendments.
I fit most of the things on this list, therefore I am, if not a terrorist, at least a right-wing extremist. (I know this is the liberals doings. Barack Obama is a left-wing extremist, and they haven't issued a memorandum against him.)
Let's look at that list again:

So, this is a hit list against Conservatives, violating the core principle of the Constitution of the United States. Here, I'll make it easy for you. This is what you should have said:

We expect these Conservatives and Tea baggers to be out in full force today, and they may get out of hand. [Ironically, I'd like to interrupt this fictitious narrative to point out that no one did. Except CNN.]
Protesting what the president is doing is a violation of federal law. Be prepared."
Or something like that. When, once again, ironically, protesting anything the government does is not a federal offense in this country!

Some of the Guantanamo Bay prisoners could be released into the United States while others could be put on trial in the American court system, Attorney General Eric Holder said on Wednesday.
...About 240 terrorism suspects, including suspected planners of the September 11 attacks, are being held in the prison. Many have been detained for seven years without charges and some were subjected to interrogation techniques denounced by critics as torture.
Cry me a river. Other countries do far worse to their prisoners.
The administration faces intense political resistance to the idea of bringing the prisoners to the United States as part of closing the detention camp. The administration seeks to transfer some detainees to Europe or other countries while freeing others.
...Holder told reporters at the Justice Department that the administration's review, made on a case-by-case basis, would determine whether the prisoners need to be put on trial or whether they can be released.
Whether they can be released? They were put in Gitmo for a reason. But wait, it gets better.
"For those who are in that second category, who can be released, there are a variety of options that we have. Among them is the possibility that we could release them into this country," he said.
Sure, let's free them into the U.S. What could possibly go wrong?

Okay, so the record, I don't think Obama's actually said that in so many words, he just blames Bush, which in itself is starting to rub me raw. But get this: Obama is now worried that he might face a backlash. No kidding:

Summers, director of the president's National Economic Council, described it as "outrageous" on "This Week" on ABC — marks the latest effort by the White House to distance itself from abuses that could feed potentially disruptive public anger.
Yep. Being forcibly dragged out of office could sure screw up his agenda. And did you see that? He's trying to distance himself from the anger. Someone oughta inform this guy that we're still ticked off at him for spending money we haven't even made yet. But wait - it gets better:
Beyond that, a shifting political mood challenges Mr. Obama's political skills, as he seeks to acknowledge the anger without becoming a target of it. A central question for Mr. Obama is whether his cool style — "in a time of crisis, we cannot afford to govern out of anger," he said in his address to Congress last month — will prove effective when the country may be feeling more emotional. .....

The danger, aides said, is that if he were to become identified as an advocate for the banks and Wall Street, people could take out their anger on him.
"The change now is you have a free-floating economic anxiety that has expressed itself in a kind of lashing out at those being bailed out and people who are bailing out," said Michael Kazin, a professor at Georgetown University who has written on populism. "There's not really a sense of what the solution is."
"I do think there's a potential for a 'damn everybody in power' kind of sentiment," Mr. Kazin said.
Another problem is the fact that Democrats don't care how much tax money they spend, and they don't have to since they don't pay taxes. But, moving on...

Well, it’s no wonder he picked tax cheats for his cabinet. You see, he owes the city of Philadelphia $24,000, he owes Springfield Illinois $65,000, and he owes Chicago $2 million.
That’s a lot of zeroes, but give me a minute… alright. The combined final cost of all these bills comes to $2,089,000.00.
The Bidens' 2006 purchase of Paradigm has sparked litigation. In December, James and Hunter Biden settled a lawsuit brought in New York state court by a one time business partner, Anthony Lotito Jr. Mr. Lotito alleged the Bidens owed him money from the Paradigm purchase. In court filings, he also contended that James Biden asked him to help Hunter Biden, who had been a Washington lobbyist, get into the hedge-fund business. Mr. Lotito alleged that Joe Biden was concerned about the impact his son's lobbying could have on his planned 2008 run for the Democratic presidential nomination. Mr. Biden did run for president but dropped out of the race.
That sent Emanuel's colleague and alleged landlord out to deny the charges. Rep. Rose DeLauro (D-Conn.) told her hometown paper, "Hey, it's cool. He doesn't rent from me. He lives there for free!"

Living for free in the home of a Democratic pollster whom you employed as both a Congressman and as chair of the DCCC might run up against the ethics rules of the "most open and transparent" administration in history. That revolving door Obama keeps talking about is actually the private entrance to Emanuel's digs.

Of course, who can forget Tim Geithner. I won't go into detail here, but let me give you the highlights. He failed to pay $34,000 dollars he owed in taxes. He paid the back taxes and interest the day before his nomination. And this guy is the head of the IRS. Good grief, they should be the ones putting him in jail.
Bill Richardson, nominee for Secretary of Commerce, was accused of giving a state contract to one of his contributors. Whoops.
The controversy deals with a car and driver lent to Daschle by a wealthy Democratic friend -- a chauffeur service the former senator used for years without declaring it on his taxes. ...
...The Cadillac and driver were never part of Daschle's official compensation package at InterMedia, but Mr. Daschle -- who as Senate majority leader enjoyed the use of a car and driver at taxpayer expense -- didn't declare their services on his income taxes, as tax laws require.
During the vetting process to become HHS secretary, Daschle corrected the tax violation, voluntarily paying $101,943 in back taxes plus interest, working with his accountant to amend his tax returns for 2005 through 2007.
Perhaps it's a good thing he was nominated for health and Human Services Secretary. Now he can feel good about paying back all that money he owes. But still. He was using this car - payed for with tax money - without paying taxes for using it.
And then we have Nancy Killefer, who got in trouble for ...... cheating on taxes!
And how did we not see this coming?
Nancy Killefer, who failed for a year and a half to pay employment taxes on household help, has withdrawn her candidacy to be the first chief performance officer for the federal government, the White House said Tuesday.
Killefer was the second major Obama administration nominee to withdraw and the third to have tax problems complicate their nomination after President Barack Obama announced their selection.
The White House said Obama had accepted Killefer's decision and that the 55-year-old executive with consulting giant McKinsey & Co., would explain her reasons for pulling out later Tuesday.
When her selection was announced by Obama on Jan. 7, The Associated Press disclosed that in 2005 the District of Columbia government had filed a $946.69 tax lien on her home for failure to pay unemployment compensation tax on household help.
Since then, administration officials have refused to answer questions about the tax error which she resolved five months after the lien was filed.
Yep. They refuse to let it blow up in Obama's face. My, wouldn't something like this be an embarrassment to the "most transparent administration in history"? Actually, that should be the "most corrupt administration in history". You're not as bad as Clinton yet, Barack, but you're getting there.
On top of all this, the second porkulus (AKA "Onmibus") spending bill has earmarks in it for Obama, Emanuel, Clinton, and Biden, along with Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, and Labor Secretary Hilda L. Solis. (Here, here.)
So your money is going right into their pockets. These cheats, all of whom either owe someone money, or have cheated on taxes, are going to take your money. They've already taken $787 billion, they're coming back for $410 million more (Unless that bill has already been killed - we can only hope).

One final thing: as of today Geithner has announced that Obama team will crack down on tax dodgers. I suggest he start with himself. ___________________________________________________________
3-4-09 Just when I think I'm done, wouldn't you know I'm not! Apparently Apparently we have a new one: Ron Kirk. Guess what he's in trouble for... Tax dodging!
Another Obama administration nominee has tax troubles. This time, it's Ron Kirk, the president's choice to be U.S. trade representative.
Kirk owes an estimated $10,000 in back taxes from earlier in the decade and has agreed to pay them, the Senate Finance Committee said Monday. The committee said the taxes arise from Kirk's handling of speaking fees he donated to a scholarship fund that he set up at his alma mater, and for his deduction of the full cost of season tickets to the Dallas Mavericks professional basketball team.
Kirk also agreed to make changes in his accounting of charitable deductions, including reducing the claimed value of a donated television from $3,000 to $1,500.
The former Dallas mayor is the fourth nominee by President Barack Obama to run into tax problems.

4-1-09 And just when you think it's over, you find it's not. No, this is no April Fool's Day joke:
Kathleen Sebelius, President Obama's nominee to become Health and Human Services secretary, said in a letter obtained by the Associated Press that she made "unintentional errors" on her taxes and has corrected her returns from three different years.
In the letter, which was sent to senators and dated today, Sebelius wrote that she had made changes related to charitable contributions, business expenses and the sale of a home, according to the AP.
The wire service reports that she and her husband paid just over $7,000 in back taxes, along with $878 in interest, for the years 2005-2007.
... CBS News has obtained Sebelius' letter to the Senate Finance Committee. She writes in it that she and her husband hired a Certified Public Accountant to review their returns after her nomination and that the CPA uncovered the errors, after which they amended their returns.
On the charitable contributions front, she writes that she could not locate three acknowledgment letters out of her 49 charitable contributions in excess of $250, and thus eliminated those three deductions.
She also writes that she had "insufficient documentation" for some of her tax dedications for business expenses, though because of the Alternative Minimum Tax they did not affect the amount owed. She also said she mistakenly paid off a home loan that included deductable mortgage interest.
Oh yeah, most transparent administration ever. Yeah right. Maybe she did make an "unintentional mistake," but she was nominated for the Cabinet, so we can't help but wonder...

President Barack Obama should prepare to carve out a lot of free time and keep the coffee hot this week as Congress prepares to unveil a $410 billion omnibus spending bill that's riddled with thousands of earmarks, despite his calls for restraint and efforts on Capitol Hill to curtail the practice.
The bill will contain about 9,000 earmarks totaling $5 billion, congressional officials say. Many of the earmarks — loosely defined as local projects inserted by members of Congress — were inserted last year as the spending bills worked their way through various committees. ...
...Democrats declared the bill earmark-free. Republicans disagreed.
"While this bill does not include traditional earmarks, we should all understand that there are earmarks in this bill," said Sen. Mike Enzi , R- Wyo. "There is $850 million ... to bail out Amtrak , a $75 million earmark for the Smithsonian, a $1 billion earmark for the 2010 census."
None of that's going to stimulate beans. The article goes on to say that once again, the Dems will shove it through with out anyone being able to see it. Sound familiar?
I sat down and added the price of these two bills, the first one and the one they're trying to pass now, together, and the final price of this porkapoloza plus the first one comes to a whopping $1,197, 000,000,000.
One trillion, one hundred ninety-seven million dollars. If this passes, we'll be paying for that forever. And I for one don't want to pick up this bill.

People, the only thing this bill is going to do is instill socialism and misery, and we'll be paying for it for... probably until about the end of the world. Or our country, whichever comes first.
